It is recommended that you search key medical databases to find journal article references, and then access the full text of these articles via our e-journal portal and document supply service.

Embase – medicine and pharmacology
Scopus – medicine and science
Cochrane – systematic reviews
Web of Science – interdisciplinary

Preprint servers and other grey literature sources are also important at this time as new information is brought out quickly, though bear in mind that preprints will not have had the same level of scrutiny as peer reviewed sources, and often cannot be searched as comprehensively as the key medical databases.
