The RCSI Library sites at 26 York St and Beaumont Hospital are closed as part of the RCSI campus closure in response to COVID-19.
The Library team are available Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm to assist with any requests including one on one assistance related to research or any other information need.
Please email all queries to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be redirected to the appropriate team member.
RCSI Library spaces will remain closed to students until September 2020 at the earliest.
The RCSI Reopening Roadmap mirrors the Irish Government's timeframe for lifting the lockdown. As each phase of the Government's lifting of the lockdown, RCSI will assess the impact. See www.rcsi.com/dublin/coronavirus for more detail on RCSI’s response to COVID-19.
If there is no reversal of the Irish Government's phases RCSI is planning a phased reopening to staff from mid-August to enable us to prepare to welcome students back to the campus during September and October. When we reopen it is likely that library spaces and services will operate differently as we implement the necessary social distancing measures. This is likely to mean fewer students can use the library at any one time and that study spaces will be rearranged to allow for the necessary distancing.
The library team continues to provide services remotely to students and the full suite of online resources and support tools are available as detailed in the rest of this guide.
