EndNote Online is a cloud based version of EndNote

Create an Endnote Online account

It is highly recommended that EndNote 21 or another desktop version of EndNote is used instead of EndNote Online as it has much greater functionality. 

EndNote Online has two main benefits when used in tandem with EndNote Desktop.

1. You can share your EndNote groups with other EndNote users.
2. You can sync your EndNote Desktop with EndNote Online in order to back up your EndNote library and use the cloud based version across different devices.
3. Regular syncing can be crucial - consider setting a reminder to sync at the end of each work session. From within the EndNote Desktop program, click on Library and then Sync.

Remember to use the same email and password with registering with both EndNote Online and EndNote Desktop.
