Creating a new EndNote Library
- Find EndNote X9 within your start button
- Open the EndNote App. If prompted, accept the user license agreement.
- To create a new EndNote library you need to go to FILE>NEW and save to your files.
(It is not recommended to save EndNote to shared network drives or cloud based storage. View the video Library sharing in EndNote X9 for instructions on how to share libraries).
Working with Referencing Styles
- The referencing style is displayed in the top left-hand corner (default is Annotated). Click on the drop-down list and select your required style. This enables you to preview your reference in your required style.
