Network Outage
RCSI Network Outage: Outages are expected between 09:00 Saturday February 2nd and 21:00 Sunday 4 February.
Impact of the network outage for RCSI Library services
E-resource Access:
NO ACCESS to RCSI e-resources (databases, ejournals, ebooks, clinical summary tools etc.), on or off campus via usual access pathways e.g. RCSI A-Z, Primo VE.
Limited access will be available to selected RCSI Library e-resources listed Edugate Access to Resources
Users are strongly encouraged to access and download library e-resource content well in advance of the outage window.
UpToDate: please register for a personal account in advance of the outage.
Self-service machines
Self Service machines will be unavailable from 16:00 Friday 2nd February - 10:00 Tuesday 6th February. Students are encouraged to borrow the materials they require before 15.30 Friday 2nd February.
Books can be returned to the book return bin and will be removed from your account on Tuesday 6th February 2024
Group Study Room
The Group Study Room booking system will be unavailable. Rooms will operate on a first come first served basis for Saturday 3rd February and Sunday 4th February.
Print/Copy/Scan
Print/Copy/Scan services will be unavailable.
PCs/Macs
PCs/Macs located in library spaces will have no network/internet connectivity
Amphitheatre
It will not be possible to record presentations in the Amphitheatre,R205
