Literature Searching

The librarian provides 1-1 tutorials on literature searching in the key databases on your specific topic.  Using best practice, we conduct a literature search and save it so you can access the results.  We provide step-by-step guidance on translating your research question into a structured, systematic literature search using PICO and other formats.  We provide advice on Critical Appraisal using CASP checklists, and writing up your search strategy in the context of your own clinical practice setting, and completing PRISMA charts.

Book a 1-1 tutorial using our Clinical Query Form or by emailing us at bhlibrary@rcsi.ie.
